Two carpenters, Oskar Johansson and Theo Roengren started, wanted to create an online collective with the mission to strengthen the perception of craft as well as collecting craftsmen in one place helping out with contacts, exhibitions and selling their products. I was to create a dynamic identity for this collective.
Concept
A dynamic logotype, inspired by craft and the intersection between the hand and the mind - a mantra from school the funders went to - leading to a mix of the design blueprint and the tactility of the material. This would change for each craftsman - letting them keep a part of their own identity under the umbrella of the collective.
